The next round of FundingBox Accelerator in Poland has started – get to know the best polish startups from healthcare and agrifood verticals.
In the first days of September, the second round of Impact Poland – the acceleration programme organized by FundingBox Accelerator in Poland – has begun. Together with partners Neuca Group, GRH Żydowo, Olewnik Bis and Exea Smart Space, the accelerator chose the top 20 of the 120 start-ups that applied to the programme. At the time of recruitment, the focus was on the search for innovation in two verticals: med-tech / healthcare and agri-food.
Namely, startups selected for this second round are: Agribot, AIFactory, All4Care, Animon, bactotech.pl, Bactrem, Croft, Datastik, HealthSens, Terminarz Medyczny Nurseum, OrtoMesh, Proteo, Proxymo – Strefa Ochrony Danych Osobowych, Remmed VR, SajTom Light Future, ScreenIT, SeniorHomecare, Smart Labs, Wellaphy and Wheelie.
The accelerator has selected for this round the teams with the highest development potential which best fit into the strategic areas of Large Enterprises partnering with the acceleration programme (this is, Neuca, Olewnik and GRH Żydowo). During the kick-off meeting, which was held in September, 5th, 2017, start-ups met their mentors with whom they will be working over the next six months on MVP, business model development and pilot plans.
In the first open call, 18 out of 148 projects were selected. In September, 13 of those completed the acceleration programme. The first effects of cooperation with the accelerator are already visible. Thanks to support, AISENS, the start-up of IOT tele-rehabilitation solutions has been selected for the prestigious Startup Bootcamp Berlin Digital Health program; CTA, which is working on advanced image processing, has started cooperation with NVIDIA, as the New York Times wrote; and Vegi, a start-up designing modern home greenhouses, began selling their first products.
